The shiny, dark green leaves change in the Fall, and the leaf margins turn white giving it a variegated look. It can be grown as a shrub, or as a groundcover. Cut the plant to the ground in early Spring to grow as a groundcover. It tolerates full sun but looks best with afternoon shade.
