Description: Used by the Egyptians to make paper, along the Nile this sedge grows over 15 feet tall and in cultivation grows 4-10 feet on 1-2" stems. Threadlike terminal bracts form graceful nodding flower heads; best grown in water, in a pond or urn, likes full sun and can be used as a houseplant with bright light.
